Barbara Dempsey

Barbara brings her Government experience in such diverse fields as technical writing, curriculum design, human resources, program analysis, and quality management training to our firm. Her 25-year career with the Department of the Army was filled with numerous awards, accolades, and many “firsts,” from being the first female Training and Doctrine Command Intern to teach “satellite communications” in the Signal School, to the honor of being the first person from Ft. Monmouth selected to attend the prestigious Department of Defense Executive Leadership Development Program.

She earned a B.A. in English (honors) from Stockton State College (1973), an M.Ed. in Adult Education (highest honors) (1978) from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a J.D. (honors) (1995) from Rutgers University. After her retirement from Government service, she was in private practice where she specialized in Labor and Employment issues. Admitted to the Bar in 1995, she is licensed to practice law in all courts in the state of New Jersey.
