Victor founded Ferlise and Associates in February 2007 following his retirement as the Deputy to the Commanding General for Operations and Support for the CECOM Life Cycle Management Command, located at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, a position that he held for fifteen years.
During his tenure as Deputy, Mr. Ferlise had direct responsibility for the six major business units at CECOM: the Logistics and Readiness Center, the CECOM Contracting Center, the CERDEC, the Software Engineering Center, the Information Systems Engineering Command and Tobyhanna Army Depot. He also had direct oversight of the Command’s Legal Office and the Homeland Security Special Projects Office.
Prior to becoming Deputy, Mr. Ferlise served as the Chief Counsel of the CECOM Legal Office from June 1982 until March 1992 where he supervised 60 attorneys. He was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in 1983.
Mr. Ferlise is also an active member of the Defense Science Board. In addition to serving as the CEO of Ferlise and Associates, he currently sits on the Board of Trustees for both the Monmouth Medical Center and the First Atlantic Federal Credit Union.
Mr. Ferlise has received numerous civilian awards and decorations, most notably the Distinguished and Meritorious Presidential Rank Awards and the Army Exceptional Civilian Service Award. He was the recipient of the 2002 Roger Jones Award for outstanding Executive Leadership in the Federal Sector, from American University, and was recognized as the 2003 Distinguished Alumnus of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. In 2006, he was awarded the Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award.
Mr. Ferlise received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Newark College of Engineering, now the New Jersey Institute of Technology (1967), and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Temple University School of Law (1971). He is licensed to practice in all courts of New Jersey, the Federal District Court, the United States Supreme Court and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
